OUR BLEND

We have been searching and selecting the best coffee quality to bring all the tastes and flavors of the old country, the work of coffee growers, and the mastery of the roasters in your coffee cup. The best selection of the various types of coffee beans, from Robusta to the finest Arabica.

ROASTING

The process of roasting is one of the fundamental steps in the processing of coffee beans As well as making the green coffee edible, it lends the aromatic and organoleptic profile which characterized every blends of our coffee.

For this, the roasting is the artist’s signature, the roaster’s signature.

Thanks to his mastery and level of expertise we can guarantee a quality standard for the various coffee varieties while maintaining unvaried the most ancient and traditional method of roasting, that of drum roaster.

The roasting takes place at low temperatures, using as fuel just woods from the mountain areas. An artisanal processing where coffee is roasted slowly with an even roasting both inside and outside the coffee bean, giving off all the chemical-physical substances responsible of its aroma.

The “drum roaster” method entails the use of a metal drum to facilitate an even roasting of coffee beans. Inside the drum, there are agitation arms that contributes to move the product and to even out the entire process of roasting. The coffee, after been roasted properly, is then placed in a cooling tray where a powerful extractor fan stops immediately its baking. It is important to underline that every single type of coffee is roasted individually, and it is left to rest for some days in specific silos.

Afterwards the types of coffee are blended The blending is a real art. A blend can contain different types of coffee and origins. From our experience we have created 4 blends, with characteristics and different tastes, from the most intense one to the sweetest one.

Kor has been created from the mastery of Nicola De Angelis who has been working with professionality and passion in this field for over 40 years. The same passion that he handed down to his sons Lorenzo and Paolo who continue to conduct the business.

Over the years Kor has been specialized to offer different possibilities to taste its coffee. Not only at the bars, but also at home or at office with a wide array of compatible capsules. Every phase of processing, quality control, roasting, and packaging takes place in Italy.

Kor operates mainly in Le Marche region. A territoriality that promotes us for the costumer care provided in our stores in Porto San Giorgio and in the wonderful Aso Valley, in Petritoli.
